Bravo found ratings and critical success with their first scripted drama, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. Now, they’ve produced an original comedy series called Odd Mom Out. Will this series be a success as well? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned to find out.
On Odd Mom Out, a new York wife, mom, and fashionista (Jill Kargman) tries to stay true to herself and resist all the delicious temptations that her frenemies and husband’s family believe are important. The rest of the cast includes Andy Buckley, KK Glick, Joanna Cassidy, Sean Kleier, and Abby Elliott.

I look forward to season 2 of Odd Mom Out. I live on the Upper East Side and this show is spot on if somewhat exaggerated. It is meant as a satire of upwardly mobile woman who spend too much time on shopping, having lunch and obsessing about their children’s schools. Jill is the perfect antidote to Brooke even though for a time she becomes a “mom bot.” Jill is smart, funny and completely real. I also love Vanessa the unmarried single doctor turning forty.
