Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

Not many packages today carry WGN in the line up. I have to torrent to get to watch. Put this show on a network that is”popular” and it will be on for years! Ged Ged Yah!

Oh, come on! This is such an interesting and different show than anything else that’s on. I love it! It is literally the only thing I watch on WGN. I would follow this show to whatever channel they moved it to! Please renew!!!

Why would I pay hetflix or hulu to watch the outsiders . I pay p,entry for my cable. Wgn should not have cancelled the series. It only has 2 shows on now. Underground and the Outsiders.
