Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

Outsiders is a really good show, the only reason the ratings are down is that it’s on a channel thats not popular and not all system’s carry it. How many people heard of WGN anyway.

I think it was a stupid move to cancel this show I would watch it on any channel. I’m really disappointed you cancel all the good shows and play stupid ones

Yes i would watch whatever channel they put it on ,if i didn’t have it would get it.fell in love with this show from looking at YouTube video clips.best show TV for me.Not that really interested much else but,Outsiders thats my show.
