Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

Yes for God sakes!! It’s the best show on TV we would follow it to hell and back if we have to. Already called my dish provider and told them to get ready in case I don’t get whatever channel. The girl I spoke with said she’s waiting too!!
Devastated that this show has been canceled…looked forward to seeing it every week…I would love to see it on another network….please

Absolutely. I just love this show. It’s the best ever. It has Amazing storylines and Characters. So full of action and drama. Im really pushing for a season 3 and more to come. Please don’t find a new network for this wonderful show asap.#ShayMustStay #OutsidersWGN.
I would definitely watch it on another channel. Love the show. I am a hillbilly from West Virginia and this show is talking on a lot of problems that hit home at current times. (Unemployment, drugs, drinking, etc.)
