Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

Are you kidding me??? We have 2 seasons invested in this series and we haven’t even scratched the surface about this clan, their history, their powers or if they have powers, Is Asa REALLY dead?? The new baby!!! You just can’t cancel this show and leave us IN LIMBO!!! I’m so angry about this, it’s ridiculous! This show has a loyal fan base! I’m so upset about this WGN!

Hey WGN… wth is wrong with you???? Everything I read says to keep this awesome show. It’s not rocket science here The actors are superb and the story-line is intriguing. If you don’t renew, I will watch it wherever it goes. Keep this show!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!

It’s a great series with tons of potential for many seasons to come. I hope somebody picks it up and soon cause I need to know what happens next asap!

I would follow it to whatever network it went to. It’s my favorite show since sons of anarchy ended. It’s a great show. Just not marketed right.
