Make way for Peggy Sykes. EPIX has announced the Warehouse 13 alum Polly Walker has boarded its new Pennyworth TV show in a recurring capacity. A Batman prequel, Pennyworth follows the early life of the man who would be Bruce Wayne’s butler. EPIX has ordered 10 episodes for the first season of the hourlong drama, which is based on the DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger.
An EPIX superhero drama, Pennyworth stars Jack Bannon as Alfred Pennyworth, a 20-something former British SAS soldier, who starts a security firm and goes to work for billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), in 1960s London, sometime prior to young Master Wayne’s birth. The cast also includes Paloma Faith in the role of Bet Sykes and Jason Flemyng as Lord Harwood.

· Polly Walker has joined the cast in the recurring role of “Peggy Sykes” for the upcoming EPIX drama series PENNYWORTH. PENNYWORTH is from Warner Horizon Scripted Television and based on the characters from DC.
· The 10-episode, one-hour drama series is based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier in his 20’s, who forms a security company and goes to work with a young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), who’s not yet Bruce’s father, in 1960s London. The series also stars multi-award-winning recording artist Paloma Faith as “Bet Sykes” and Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as “Lord Harwood.”
· Peggy Sykes – sister of Bet Sykes – is one of Lancashire’s busiest and most successful dominatrixes. The sensible matriarch in a family of maniacs, Peggy is fiercely loyal, endlessly resourceful, and lives by her own strange but rigorous moral code.
· Walker’s previous credits include Line of Duty, Prisoners’ Wives, The Mentalist and Rome.
