As we noted earlier, NBC is doing some “creative programming” with their Persons Unknown TV series.
Last week’s episode was preempted by sports programming. Last night’s episode of Persons Unknown was the 10th installment (“Identity”), and next week, the peacock network will wrap up the story with episodes 12 and 13.
So, what happened to episode 11, “Seven Sacrifices”? For some reason, they’re released it online but won’t be broadcasting it.
For viewers who don’t have broadband Internet access, that’s obviously bad news. If you do, you’re in luck. You can now watch it via Hulu, NBC.com, or simply click below.
9/20 UPDATE: It seems that the episode has been taken down. You can purchase the full season on DVD from Amazon. You can also purchase individual episodes from Amazon and iTunes.

I was also disappointed by the way the show ended. However, the way that it ended left it open for another season since now they are on the ship and we still don’t really know what the heck is going on!!!
I really loved this show. I’m VERY disappointed that there is talk about not a second season of Persons Unknown. At least et it show online! I would watch it!!!! stupidess!!!
what started out as a promising summer series ended in a lame, rushed, totally pathetic disappointment, minus one random episode I had to search for (weird, right?). NBC you should be ashamed of yourselves. What a waste of my time. I’ll think again before tuning into anything new you’re promising for the future.
I loved persons unknown. It reminded me a little of watching Lost. Where the cast is somewhere they don’t know, can’t get out and things happen to them, so they have to bond together. I loved it!!!! Hoping for season 2!!!!
I found this show so very entertaining!! I don’t follow ratings, or garbage like that and am actually shocked to find that it received poor ratings. NBC is notorious for doing this. Don’t they realize people don’t watch a lot of television in the summer? Wonder how it would have done during the winter?? I loved the ending… it was exciting, creative, and heart wrenching. It’s very disappointing that I’ll be left with yet another cop drama, or “Minute to Win It” to be entertained by. Thanks, NBC!
“By Summer’s End, All Will Be Revealed.”
Well, that was just one more lie.
Good riddance.
No disrespect meant to the actors or production staff, as they did their best with what they had. However, this show is dreck. The Strangerhood was better, and I’m positive this show was based on that.
We don’t need series playing into the general paranoia of the nation. Season Two? Don’t bother.
Not even for all the white-wigged Robert Picardos in the world.
The Show was really great and it was set up at the end for a season 2. If there is not a season 2 alot of people would be upset including me. They need to continue it but this time they need to keep it to one day and one time and not change it half way through the season and make it were people can’t find the show.Cant believe that they didn’t air episode 11 i was so confused when episode 12 come on that i searched the internet for episode 11. When i found it i read all… Read more »
We were watching the Finale last night and wondered what happened to the obviously missing episode. Thanks for answering that question for us!
So disappointed in npersons unknown! NBC needs to do better!
I agree PU is terrible (no pun intended and except for Kate Lang Johnson) NBC could have finished the series professionally. Your right about NBC but what about ABC with Flash Forward and Fox with The Terminator?
Writing the networks to complain about how we are all upset with the way they handle series finales is fruitless. We should write the sponsors that’ll get them…lol.
i will never watch anything that has anything to do with NBC or persons unknown!!!
super disappointed. Feel NBC needs to find new writers that know that a story has a beginning, middle and an END.
The networks promise up great programming and like lemmings we all watch hoping for a good series. Then without warning they change the sequence of the shows, delete some of them and rearrange the schedule that makes us search for the shows that were supposed to air but didn’t.
Even today Saturday the 28 2 episodes are supposed to air tonight but in all the TV grids I see theres a football game. Some of the searches for the show indicate the show is on at 2 and 3 AM. (in the morning?)
Beware of “The Event”
theres only going to be one season
So I guess there will NOT be another season? Why do they always move a show all over the place & then complain noone watches? How can we when it’s here, then gone, this day, then that, this time, then that! WTF! Had I not had to find out what happened w/ Happy Town, I would not of came across articles to Persons Unknown. Then I’d been really ticked. Give a show a chance!
season 2 cant what
Love the show, but I hope the change most of the principals each season and allow those that are there to escape or hve a mind wipe and return to their lives or something that doesn’t involve killing them.
LOL silly but I LOVE happy endings
additionally, after one season, this will get a bit tidius if they don’t get some kind of break…
