Please don’t cancel this series! Its a fantastic show that needs achance, just because the ratings aren’t great for its debut, a lot of shows started out this way and got better. We have already lost great series such as Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies. New shows have it tough when up against long running dramas and comedies. Though this probably wont do any good, its very sad to see something original go down. Thanks.
This is a great show. It’s one of those shows that will definitely pay off in the near future. ABC gave it a horrible slot, but the writing is great and the witty humor is great. DO NOT CANCEL! Lots of viewership from Hulu so ABC may want to think about how they can turn these numbers into advertising fees to make some money rather than just canceling it without even giving it a chance. Stick it out for at least a full season and you will see!!!!
Keep the show. It’s truly the only thing getting me through this college admissions process and the possibility of being rejected from every school I applied to. Also, it’s quite clever. I love the writing. Quite honestly, ABC, did you expect to get a hit show in the midst of The Office, American Idol, Lost (SERIES FINALE!)? Really? This show is great. It will get more viewers. Keep it on. It’s the young Boston Legal, a modern Law & Order if you will.
Also, I think it’s great that this show has two African-Americans at the top of a major law firm. It’s a great echo of the power dynamics in the United States.
And, if you do keep it on, change that Aussie character. He’s very…lacking and not as attractive as he’s hyped up to be. I’m sorry; but, this is true. My suspension of disbelief can only go so far. And, I wish you would have dragged out the whole affair between Cliff and his wife.
I have great ideas of where this show could go. And believe me, The Deep End could definitely be one of the best shows on television. It could even become a rival to Mad Men.
Finally, I must admit that I cried when Mr. Mather(sp?) hugged Kevin at the end of the episode “An Innocent Man.” I guess I should have first said that only three shows have ever made me cry in my lifetime.
I like the show, it shows diversity on T.V. with an educated characters, multi-ethnic cast as well as a great balance of men and women. I love the show’s topics and the humor. It would be great to see the characters of the show develop over the years. I believe that ABC needs a show like this. It’s refreshing. ~ #1 fan.
I love the Deep End. It’s an interesting show that they have not given a fair chance with only 5 episodes. It deserves more of a chance and it should be kept on the air.
