I absolutely LOVE this show!! I was upset today when I thought that my TIVO did not record last night’s episode and then realized that last week’s episode was the finale!!!
Please, please, please bring this show back! Not only is it the reason my family has looked forward to Thursdays for the past 6 weeks, I am just now starting to get my friends into it as well!!
Also, I agree with a previous and a posted comment made on this petition page by a viewer of this show. It’s true that “Deep End” is truly unique in it’s self. This is the first law series that I can understand without all the complex, hoopla-lingo that other law shows carry, which are by the way DRY and BORING.

To all the fans of “Deep End”, I urge you to write ABC to keep this wonderful show on the air. Especially, I adore the writers who wrote good heartfelt scripts, and the casting manager or director did an awesome job in picking the best, top notch actresses and actors for the roles on this show. I would have done the same if I was the casting director.

P.S. We need to see more episodes pronto. I want to find out whether or not the character Susan, will she ever discover Cliff’s mischievous ways, stop giving him a second chance, and finally divorce his cheating ass! Will Addy follow her heart and fall in love with “the FINE” Malcom? Will Beth and Liam relationship stand or plunder because of working together or does he have a wondering eye for another lady friend?
Finally, a show in my own age group that is smart, spectacular, hilarious, and stories that touches real, every day people lives. It’s extremely enjoyable, inspiring, and coy. It’s nice to watch this show having women in power roles (like Nicole, Tina, and Leah) that represent real every day women who is smart and intelligent. It’s so refreshing to see a GOOD show about life, consequences, and changing peoples lives for the better. ABC, PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW.
P.S. Honestly, I rarely watch any of your network’s shows because I’m tired of seeing crude, disgusting, no real substance shows with continuous roles for air headed women that sleep around with multiple men, no regard for life, and the people they’ve hurt along the way. Also, it’s nice to finally see real men who are responsible, driven, and fight for what they believe in.
Please don’t cancel the show. I also have work on Thursdays so cannot watch it and catch it online. At least put up some more episodes to give it closure
To ABC: I am not a regular broadcast network viewer but The Deep End changed that for me. I started watching The Deep End because I liked the cast of actors that the show has. Then I continued to watch because of the story line. That in turn led to my family and myself to watch more ABC. We now have discovered Modern Family, The Middle and Private Practice. ABC you were restoring a relationship with an old loyal viewer (TGIF) but by abriviating the season of The Deep End my faith in broadcast tv is back where it was before, Pay for Cable cause there is nothing good to watch on the Big Three. Please bring back The Deep End.
Please don’t cancel this series! For once in I don’t know how long I’ve found a show to have all the elements of what I consider to be a hit!
Deep End is wonderful and deserves a chance.
This is one of my favorite shows on TV and dropping it would be a huge mistake. Some shows need time to grow and hit their stride. Give it a chance ABC.
