TV show description:
This dramatic series follows the inspirational story of a young pitcher who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball.
A beautiful, tough and gifted athlete, Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) is vaulted into instant fame when she’s called up by the San Diego Padres to make her Major League debut. Like any rookie, Ginny must prove herself to her teammates.
Foremost among them is Mike Lawson (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the team’s ruggedly handsome star catcher. There’s instant chemistry between them, although neither dares to admit it. After all, Mike is captain of the team and a few of his players don’t even want Ginny on the field. One of the players watching Ginny’s back is center fielder Blip Sanders (Mo McRae), an old friend from the minor leagues.
Guiding Ginny is her agent and confidante, Amelia Slater (Ali Larter). Amelia saw Ginny’s star potential early on and left her previous job as a Hollywood publicist to concentrate on the young phenom.
Although she’s been groomed for this moment by her demanding father, Bill Baker (Michael Beach), the end of Ginny’s improbable journey is the beginning of an almost impossible one. She’s representing her gender as she embarks on a successful baseball career under the glare of the white-hot media spotlight.
Episode #10 — Don’t Say It
Ross warns the Padres that Ginny is dangerously close to her pitching limit, but management is reluctant to end her season. Meanwhile, Amelia confronts Will about money that has gone missing from the restaurant fund.
First aired: December 8, 2016
What do you think? Do you like the Pitch TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I would love to see another full series of Pitch. Was a great family program that did not have to be concord . It had a super plot and not a lot of violence . So please bring it back
I have just spent about an hour reading all the comments about Pitch. Apparently I am the only one who has read them all…because I am sure FOX has not, because Pitch was not and has not been renewed to the best of my knowledge. Netflix…where are you!?!? Pick this series up! Please! Let FOX’s loss be your gain! This was the only show I watched on FOX then, now or ever! What a waste!
Bring back the show Pitch. This show needs to come back and it is unlike any other show because this show is so special. And why do you need to cancel it when other people love it.In conclusion, why cancel the second season when there is a cliff hanger and people are worried about Ginny Baker and what is going to happen.
It was a great show with nothing like that on any network. Please bring it back. I looked forward to seeing every episode.
Please bring it back… Bring back Pitch, and Rosewood.
please bring back pitch
Both my husband and I loved the show! So disappointed!
Loved the show should be renewed. A good show always gets cancelled, but the rotten shows come back!!!!!
I absolutely loved the show. My vote is to renew another season. I believe it will make the cut for another season, and the audience will grow. Please, promote it more and the audience will come.
I loved this show and feel it still have a story line. I’m watching my recorded episodes now.
it’s crazy how a good show with an interesting story get cancelled. But shows with significant stay on like Pitch, Rosewood. But networks keep reality shows that use foul language and fighting each other continue to stay on.
Our whole family loved this show and have recommended it as well! Please bring it back!!!
Don’t understand this decision. It was a very good show. It needs to be picked up by another network.
I loved this show you need to bring it back for another season. I am so tired of getting attached to new shows and then they cancel them. If you didn’t have a good enough audience that was because of the time it was aired. You networks need to change the way you do things, if you have good shows on at the same time as other networks you can only watch one at a time, I am always recording weekly shows because of that problem. Please bring this show back
This show was great, I loved it! Even my husband liked it. Unfortunately, he called this play from the start. “Don’t get attached,” he said. “If they meant for this show to succeed, they wouldn’t have put it in this time slot.” Too right.
