This dramatic series takes up the age-old question: Is death truly the end or, is there something else beyond?
Doctor Carolyn “Cat” Tyler (Jennifer Beals) has gone through some devastating changes in her life lately. She’s lost her her teenage son, seen her marriage with fellow physician Len Barliss (David Sutcliffe) break up, and she’s become estranged from her teenage daughter Sophie (Annie Thurman).
Cat is persuaded by cancer-stricken tech inventor and billionaire Ivan Turing (Matthew Modine) to investigate cases of reincarnation, near-death experiences, hauntings and other phenomena — all of it in the search for evidence that death is not the end.
It’s both a journey of exploration and a deeply personal and emotional journey for Cat, who hopes to find answers in the wake of her son’s death.
Other characters include hospital administrator Doctor Charles Russell (Joe Morton); Cat’s Sudanese intern Doctor Zedan “Zed” Badawi (Edi Gathegi); Ivan’s assistant, Janel Ramsey (Caroline Rose Kaplan); and best-selling author Peter Van Owen (Callum Blue) who claims to be psychic.

Proof is the best show own TV bar none. The storytelling is unique and the actor’s performances are riveting; Jennifer Beals and cast. Yes, Please TNT renew Proof! This type of show comes into our homes once in a life time, Proof needs a second season and more to sustain it’s growing loyal fandom. As evidences by past TV shows that have gone on to be winners with their fandom.

Proof should get a S2 and more. This is the best show I have watched in long time, across all networks. It is thought provoking and keeps you engaged. The writing, directing and acting are A+. Jennifer Beals is amazing! How she can deliver all the complex emotions Dr. Tyler is going through with her facial expressions is just pure talent.
Cancelled? You must be joking! This is one mind grasping show with fantastic actors who bring out so much with regards to their characters. The storyline is thought provoking. It’s not mindless watching – it’s like a million orgasms in one’s grey matter!
Season 2 is a must for Proof. It’s the best drama on TV . The storyline is unique, the actors are all top notch. Jennifer Beals is sensational as Dr. Caroline Tyler. David Sutcliff, Annie Thurman, Edi Gathegi, Joe Morton, Matthew Modine & everyone else are fabulous. You never know where each episode will take you. I can’t say enough about Proof. It’s a winner for sure!!!
I definitely think it should be renewed. It is by far the best drama on TV. It is so intriguing and keeps me wanting more and more. Jennifer Beals is superb as Dr, Caroline Tyler. Please keep this great show on TV.

Sorry, but I forgot to say I love Callum Blue and would love to see him stay on the show with season 2. All your actors on this show are perfect and that is a huge feat to accomplish. Some new shows are lucky to get 1 actor to fit when you got all the actors right! Please, please, please renew this show!!!!!
This show is the best on TV and if I must say TNT seems to have the most shows taping on my TIVO this season (which is unusual). Please don’t cancel this show! My daughter and I both TIVO the show in the same house (different rooms) but I have to watch the show as it’s taping because I love it so much. I’m so tires of channel 3, 6, 0r 10 cancelling shows before people even know they’re on that I’ve started not investing time in new shows on those stations so hopefully that won’t happen with TNT. Pls renew PROOF for Season 2 because: -It’s the BEST SHOW I’ve seen in eons. -The series is appreciated WorldWide! -The things fans do to be able to watch and partake in the ‘livetweet’ with the cast and crew during airing are out of this world!! -The plot of each episode is very well thought through and exciting. -The acting by all the actors is SUPERB!
