A new crime drama is coming to Hulu. Deadline reports the streaming service has acquired the CBC TV series Pure.
Based on real events, the Canadian show tells “the story of a Mennonite pastor trying to protect his family and preserve his faith while battling drug trafficking within his community.” The cast includes Ryan Robbins, Alex Paxton-Beesley, AJ Buckley, Peter Outerbridge, and Rosie Perez.
Pure will stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. The streaming service has not yet announced a premiere date.
What do you think? Have you seen Pure? Will you watch the new series on Hulu?
Really disappointed to see that Pure is going to Hulu. Say it isn’t so!!
I love this show. I especially enjoy the fact that it’s based on a true story. When is the next part coming out? Hulu, you’re my hero!
I loved this show and was really hoping it was going to have a season 2 on CBC.
This show is really intense. good shows like Longmire r hard to fin today with all the other crap on. So they go and cancel another potentially great show??? Why? location was great the acting was phenomenal so u have to ask why, MONEY. of course this is it. so sad that the majority of the shows on today r crap. just venting . I hope by some chance that HULU picks this up like Netflix did Longmire.
Pure is a well-acted tv show with a great plot and storyline. It would be a tragedy to have it end after season one. I really don’t understand what comprises a great show in the eyes of the viewing public, because I think Pure is one of the best tv shows I’ve ever watched. Please continue it!!!!
Love love this show. Please HUlu. Keep it going. Don’t let it be cancelled. It ismtruly something different!!!
Love this show. I got my family to watch the first episode and then they were hooked. It was nice to see this show with my family. We love so please hulu. Please Please keep it
Love this show thanks Hulu!!!!
I agree with Batgirl, the series was rivetting, the only issues I had was the chief of police was not believable, and Rosie Perez’ accent was horrible. Other than that and typical first season acting blunders, I was hooked.
This mini-series was really good. It’s only six episodes. Lately, Canadian TV has produced a few great shows: this one and Cardinal.
