As reported here, the WB’s top-rated comedy Reba was not scheduled to make the jump to the new CW network — even though it had been given a two season renewal agreement last year. It was expected that, because of the agreement, FOX would be paid one way or the other. One source put the penalty as high as $20 million, including compensating the studio for lost syndication revenue.
The new CW schedule has been announced and Reba is not on it. But, in a last minute reprieve, the CW has reportedly placed an order for a sixth season comprised of 13 new episodes. When will they air or will they air at all? It’s hard to say but, considering the production costs and the sitcom’s high WB ratings, my best guess would be that the show will be brought back to the airwaves as a midseason replacement.
Will more episodes be ordered? Time will tell. Stay tuned! 
As a constant viewer of Reba and one of her biggest fans,I want to know why the show is not returning. It ios a very good show and there are not enough good shows on tv i also enjoy gilmore Girls And Seventh Heaven Maybe i will stop watching them.

My husband and I watch Reba with our family and laugh at how real it is. We joke that Cheyanne and Van are just like us. How do we contact CW to voice our opinion that this a a show that we want kept?
I am amazed that Reba is not on the new fall line up on the CW. That is one of the funniest shows on right now and it’s a FAMILY show. Unfortunately these days there’s not much on you can watch as a family. I’m very disappointed and will not be watching anything on the CW (except 7th Heaven) another family show until Reba is back on the air.

I’ve been searching everywhere and just found out that “Reba” may or may not be returning to the new CW. Why cancel a decent family show? Is it not violent or risque enough? We need more entertainment like the “Reba” show. I hope the new network comes to its senses!
I have waited all summer for the return of Reba now what a disapointment my favorite show is not in the fall line up i certainly hope someone comes to their sense’s and brings back the best show on tv.

I searched my TV Guide and could not believe that REBA was not on the schedule for the new CW! IF this decision is any indication of the programming decisions to come, CW better find new decision makers. Reba is a first class sitcom with smart, funny talent!!!!!!!!!!!
it is a mistake to remove reba from the CW.this is the best comedy show thats on . i hope she will be back.
My husband and I recently started watching Reba in syndication and are very disappointed that it is not in the the 2006 line up of the “NEW CW” fall season. What a shame. If the network wants to be successful then why isn’t a quality family show like Reba in their Fall lineup. This is a big mistake. I hope that if they are not “smart” enough to bring it back that some other “smart” network picks it up.
I just recently got “hooked” on REBA from a syndicated run on Lifetime. In searching to see where I could find original airtime for this sitcom, I discovered that it has been canned. Maybe. This is such a terrific show. I only hope that if CW Network does not put it in there line up that another broadcast station will.
I was sure Reba would move to the CW Network, but after talking to my local stationt that will carry the CW Network forced me to research my favorite show. I went to the new CW webstite to see their line up and was totally disapointed with it, I was extremely un-happy they dont want Reba as part as their programming and I want everyone to write and call your local CW Network and request they contact the CW network and bring in Reba, as well I want everyone to write to the CW Network and tell them how upset… Read more »
I am amazed at the decision not to air REBA. I only have channel 11 for one show each week and that it REBA. Will I cancel the station-you bet.
I am hopeful FOX or another station is smart enough to jump on picking up this sitcom. Life is too hard not to find humor in television shows and REBA was up there with EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND.
