Sorry Reckless fans, there won’t be a second season of the steamy summer legal drama. CBS has cancelled the series after one season of 13 episodes.
Reckless revolves around a beautiful litigator from the north and a charming southern attorney who must hide their intense mutual attraction as a police sex scandal erupts in Charleston, South Carolina. The TV show’s cast includes Cam Gigandet, Anna Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Georgina Haig, Adam Rodríguez, Michael Gladis, Kim Wayans, and Gregory Harrison.
The series debuted in late June to just a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.99 million total viewers. The numbers didn’t get much better over the course of the season and ended up averaging just a 0.6 demo rating with 3.91 million viewers. The network burned off the final episodes on a Saturday night.

Renew Reckless, I caught it in Netflix in Nov 2014 and it is amazing! It’s a show for the fall/winter more than on the summer time. That is why the ratings were low in my humble opinion.

Renew Reckless!!! It most likely had poor summer ratings because know one new it was on, including me, poor advertising. Plus few watch prime time TV in the summer.

RENEW!!!!!!! I caught it on netflix and was wondering when the 2nd season starts. Was furious when I found out it was canceled??!!! It’s ridiculous how they keep on renewing shows like the kardashian which have no positive substance and attraction meanwhile they cancel shows like reckless. 🙁 Renew RECKLESSSS!!!
