Sorry Reckless fans, there won’t be a second season of the steamy summer legal drama. CBS has cancelled the series after one season of 13 episodes.
Reckless revolves around a beautiful litigator from the north and a charming southern attorney who must hide their intense mutual attraction as a police sex scandal erupts in Charleston, South Carolina. The TV show’s cast includes Cam Gigandet, Anna Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Georgina Haig, Adam Rodríguez, Michael Gladis, Kim Wayans, and Gregory Harrison.
The series debuted in late June to just a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.99 million total viewers. The numbers didn’t get much better over the course of the season and ended up averaging just a 0.6 demo rating with 3.91 million viewers. The network burned off the final episodes on a Saturday night.

I loved Reckless! Great acting, great story, and great show! I cant believe it wasnt renewed! Of course id watch 2nd season! Cmom CBS… it seems like when i find a good show it disappears…hard to get invested!

I recorded Season 1 and watched all 13 episodes today. Great show and plot lines. Great acting by an amazing cast. Couldn’t wait to see each new episode. So much chemistry between characters. I WANT TO SEE MORE!!!! Very poor decision to cancel this program!!
I LOVED this series. Great story lines, plots and characters. The chemistry between Jamie and Roy was off the charts. Very disappointing it’s not coming back 🙂

I enjoyed Reckless very much, True to life series. It seems like the good shows are being cancelled and more reality shows are showing up! Seems like that’s all anyone is watching these days.
It was a good show, you have to wonder what the 18 to 49 groups are watching, since that is what they’re going by
