What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Rosewood follows charismatic Miami pathologist, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut). Although optimistic, as well as calm, cool, and collected, this Medical Examiner has two holes in his heart and will probably die within a decade. Joining him in his practice are his sister Pippy (Gabrielle Dennis), the toxicology queen, as well as DNA specialist Tarra Milly ‘TMI’ Izzicoff (Anna Konkle). He is close to his mother Donna (Lorraine Toussaint), who does not shy away from sharing her opinions while helping out. Homicide Team Leader Detective Ira Hornstock (Domenick Lombardozzi) oversees Dr. Rosewood, as he partners with the uncompromising Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), on the city’s toughest criminal cases. New to town, the mysterious Captain Ryan Slade (Eddie Cibrian) challenges the relationship between Rosewood and Villa, which is messy and complicated enough, on its own.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Rosewood averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 3.03 million viewers. Telly’s Take
Dr. Rosewood may be charismatic but viewers aren’t exactly flocking to his show now that it’s been moved away from Empire. It was hammered on Thursday nights and has now been moved to Friday nights. Unless its ratings see some significant improvement, I suspect this series is doomed to be cancelled. 5/9 update: FOX has cancelled Rosewood after two seasons. Details here.

Please don’t cancel rosewood because this is the only show that I look forward to after a long week. The casting is unbelievable. I love via and Morris chestnut together. They have a good vibe. That’s hard to come by in any tv show. If you at least give us 2 more seasons that would be great. I think rosewood could have more action and suspense. Overall it is the best.

Not time to drop this show. The acting in the last few minutes of the season finale was worth an award. We need to see what happens with the whole cast.

I love this show!!!!! The ratings were probably affected by the new night. Switching it to Friday nights may not have been a good decision.
Please do not cancel Rosewood. Apart from General Hospital, Rosewood is the only show that I watch on a Friday.
I LOVE Rosewood & share that with all I know. PLEASE RENEW the series & keep it on as long as Grey’s Anatomy has been on. It’s compelling, entertaining, informative & makes you think.
Please don’t cancel it. I don’t have cable and watch it on Hulu.. Does that count for ratings. I love Rosewood and with Bones off the air it’s where I get my doc/cop fix:)

It was very unfair to switch Rosewood to Friday. I watch alot of Fox shows and it’s one of the best. Don’t doom a show by putting it on Friday. Tuesday would be a great night! Please bring it back!!!!
No Rosewood tonight . Did I continue to watch FOX on a Friday night NO!!! I surfed channels. No Rosie no reason to watch FOX.
