Rosewood is back for more. Variety reports FOX has renewed the series for a second season.
The police procedural stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., an optimistic pathologist who is paired with tough homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, and Lorraine Toussaint also star.
The series debuted in September to favorable ratings and has continued to perform decently during in its freshman season. So far, Rosewood is averaging a 1.42 rating in the 18-49 demo, with around 4.956 million viewers.

With ‘Rosewood,’ creator Todd Harthan has put a fresh, playful spin on the procedural format, infusing it with wit and warmth, while Morris, Jaina and the show’s gifted supporting cast have turned in fantastic performances.”
Today, FOX also renewed Lucifer for a second season.

So happy Fox renewed Rosewood. Awesome storyline and Morris Chestnut is great as Rosewood. Villa and Rosie have a fantastic chemistry, I really hope to see many more seasons of Rosewood. FOX has a hit with Rosewood.

Rosewood is a very good tv show…I love the constant bantering between Villa and Rose wood. The story line is great! The acting from the whole cast is great…Time for season 3!!!!
Yes, it’s thee only tv show that I look at on a regular basis!! I look forward to Season 2 and hopefully it will be renewed for a few more seasons after that.
So very glad to see that Rosewood has been renewed! The characters really started to develop and each show’s major and sub-plots became more interesting as the season went on. Thanks, Fox, for another enjoyable series!
