What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Salvation stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance, Shazi Raja, and Ian Anthony Dale. This suspense thriller follows MIT graduate student Liam Cole (Rowe) and tech genius Darius Tanz (Cabrera). Because they don’t want to cause public panic, the two present Pentagon Press Secretary, Grace Barrows (Finnigan), with evidence that in six months, a huge asteroid will crash into the Earth. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards (Dale) is running the D.O.D.’s top-secret operation to deflect the asteroid. At the same time, Darius is working with Jillian (Byers), a rookie science fiction writer, on a different approach to save humanity.

Salvation premiered with low ratings and they’ve gotten even worse. Unless CBS has made enough deals to cover a good amount of the costs for this series, I would be shocked if this series came back for a second season.Subscribe for free updates on any cancellation and renewal news.

One of the best shows on TV. Great story line and cast of characters. Hoping the show is renewed for a second season, it’s much better than a lot of shows currently on TV.
Our family wants the show to continue. Well acted, timely plot line, enjoyable TV compared to some of the farcical viewing available. Please keep the show!
If CBS cancels Salvation I’ll be so mad. Tonight’s episode is the best yet. If it’s cancelled I will not watch anymore summer shows. This would make the third one. I loved Under the Dome and the one with Hallie Berry. The name escapes me right now cause I’m upset that Salvation might be cancelled. It’s bad enough we have to wait 9months to see the next episode. Please renew Salvation. There aren’t many shows we like. However we really look forward watching Salvation. We find it really engaging.

Please renew Salvation, give it a chance to grow a larger audience !! (out of 139 comments, I only saw 2 that actually said to cancel, and maybe 2-5 that were just comments without asking to renew or cancel) …. a HUGE majority want this series to continue on …. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE VIEWERS !!
most of my family loved it…ages 14 to 69…seriously…only show we watched on CBS.

This show has very good writing. Plenty of twists and turns, suspense and a little romance, as well as Washington intrigue. The acting is great. I hope you give it another season to really catch on. Try another time slot, like right before Bull, or right after Survivor. We think it’s great! Keep this show on! Thanks

Please renew Salvation, my whole family, from age 8 thru 61 love this show. It is edge of your seat exciting, with ever expanding plot twists, interesting characters and outstanding acting!

I don’t watch TV shows much, if at all. Salvation was a different case. I really hope Season 2 comes out, and soon because I’m already having severe withdrawals. BEST SHOW!!! Thanks CBS!!!
Please renew Salvation. It is refreshingly unpredictable. It is science fiction that is very plausible in our world today. Frighteningly so. It makes us stop and think about who we are, what we really want, what our priorities should be. I love all the story lines and relationship interactions. I’m not ready to give all that up yet!
