What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Salvation stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance, Shazi Raja, and Ian Anthony Dale. This suspense thriller follows MIT graduate student Liam Cole (Rowe) and tech genius Darius Tanz (Cabrera). Because they don’t want to cause public panic, the two present Pentagon Press Secretary, Grace Barrows (Finnigan), with evidence that in six months, a huge asteroid will crash into the Earth. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards (Dale) is running the D.O.D.’s top-secret operation to deflect the asteroid. At the same time, Darius is working with Jillian (Byers), a rookie science fiction writer, on a different approach to save humanity.

Salvation premiered with low ratings and they’ve gotten even worse. Unless CBS has made enough deals to cover a good amount of the costs for this series, I would be shocked if this series came back for a second season.Subscribe for free updates on any cancellation and renewal news.

I just binged watched this first season in 2 days. Please say it wasn’t nothing I’m looking forward to. Second season.
This show is great! This has been the best tv show I ever seen so far. I even leave work 15mins early every Wednesday just to get home on time to watch it. Please don’t cancel it. At least give us season 2 to end the show. I have to know what’s happens…. the fans need season 2. If CBS don’t want to air it no more atleast take it to Netflix or hulu, Amazon to continue the story. #1 fan here

I absolutely love this show! Although I usually prefer crime dramas or comedies, this has become my favorite show to watch. I hope it is renewed for a second season.
Why do all the good shows get cancelled and the crap remains running like Wicked Tuna, or any of the reality shows that by the way are trash. I have really been enjoying Salvation and it would be a shame to let it go. Remember what the critics said about ET? Well then ET took off and did really well. Salvation deserves a chance to shine too.
Yes I want to see a season 2! I find good shows then poof. Canceled. Makes me mad. I hate reality tv so good action/suspense/conspiracy type shows are up my alley.
Salvation should define come back for a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th season. One of the better shows on TV. I have not missed one episode!
Please, you have cancelled too many shows that viewers actually love, I could start a list but it’s just long. It’s about time you listened to the viewers for a change, give this show a chance, let us have out season 2

After watching the first episodd, I figured the series would not make it. But I kept watching and got hooked. I am intrigued to see what happens next – I hope CBS will renew it.

Love the show. Bring it back. The summer time slot is tough to gain huge ratings for a new show.

My husband and I both hope Salvation will be renewed for a second season. We discovered it late and also binge watched to catch up on the series. It is a good show with a fine cast and story.
