CBS has cancelled its Scorpion TV show after four seasons. The season, which began with a musical episode, weill be this series’ swan song.
A CBS action drama, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter. Inspired by a real-life computer expert, the series centers on Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. Team Scorpion is the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats.
Scorpion: A Look at the Ratings
The fourth season of Scorpion is averaging a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.26 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by about 32% and down by 27%, respectively. By both measures, Scorpion is consistently among the lowest rated scripted CBS TV shows.
All told, today CBS cancelled two TV shows: Superior Donuts and Scorpion. The network also renewed five series: Criminal Minds (season 14); Man With a Plan (season three); Life in Pieces (season four); Instinct (season two); and Big Brother: Celebrity Edition (season two).
UPDATE: CBS has cancelled Kevin Can Wait and has renewed Elementary for season seven.
Deadline has confirmed the Scorpion cancellation.

They can ‘t stop a whole season doesn’t have to but at least one episode that everything ends well this is just impossible they can ‘t do this!!
Scorpion season 4 was based on saving the world and never mentioned anything about terrorists. From the past season’s scorpion used the combination terrorism and catching bad guy but season 4 was bad it focused on one thing, That’s why the rating dropped so hard.
Solution to that is for CBS to allow scorpion a chance to renew season five but bring back the action from the past season’s.
Season 5 should demonstrate the following,
-terrorist
-kidnapping
-fail to complete a task
-love
-escaping
-danger

Scorpion was a great show and it sucks it got canceled.
Every show I like get cancelled this was a great series and should have ended with finished not yanked off left to wonder why the replaced it with reboot series.
Why do all the good shows keep getting cancelled? I loved this show! Nothing else like it on TV. We need a show like this…

CBS should let The CW pick Scorpion up for a fifth season for the 2019-2020 season. Like they did with Supergirl.
What a great show!! Why cancel a good thing!! It’s always the good shows that get cancelled!! So sad!!
I can’t believe they cancelled it! this is the best series ever! As soon as I finished season 4, I started up season 1 again, and now I’ve finished it for the second time :/ get us a fifth season!!!

ya know people it’s all about commercials, they pay the bills. The networks love being on top of a show is dragging them down out the door it goes. They do not care about the minority of people who love it. So sad.
CBS Should not have cancelled Scorpion anytime you get interested in a TV series they go and cancel it! There’s no sense in watching a TV series anymore!!!
