Tonight marks the second season finale of the Scream TV series on MTV. But, will it be the last episode of the entire series? Will it return for a third season? Should it be cancelled?
Season two of the Scream TV show picks up with Emma Duval (Willa Fitzgerald) returning to Lakewood. She’s spent several months at a retreat and hopes to put the horrific events of last season behind her. Good luck with that. The rest of the cast includes Amadeus Serafini, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Carlson Young, Conner Weil, John Karna, Kiana Lede, Santiago Segura, Sean Grandillo, Tom Maden, and Mike Vaughn (voice only).
The first season of Scream averaged a 0.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 750,000 viewers. Those weren’t great ratings and the current season’s numbers have dropped a lot lower. The nine installments have averaged 0.19 in the demo and 380,000 viewers — more than a 45% drop season-to-season.
Based on the ratings alone, it seems unlikely that MTV will order a third season but, these days, you never know.

We would love scream to be renewed. This is the best show we have seen in our lives & would want to know so much more! We have been fans since season 1 episode 1. Please renew it so many people are enjoying it. (Samantha) I even have wallpapers all over my room and the songs and I even follow all the the actors in it! LOL BUT PLEASE PLEASE RENEW IT!!

Please keep renewing! I love both seasons I been watching since season 1 episode 1! Best show made in a while I love horror and grew up on the movie scream I love the new ideas and how you guys still keep it original great job please keep it up!
If it’s not renewed on MTV, it would do awesome on Netflix. That’s where most people I know have been watching it.
Please renew season 3! i have just watched the whole 2 series on netflix and absolutely loved it. i cant believe i didnt know about it sooner.

please renew to season 3, there is so much more the fans are dying to know, who is the person who called kieran? where is brookes mom, more about kieran how him and piper know each other and throwbacks, we want throwbacks of how kieran and piper killed together… the show can’t end just yet there needs to be more, we always get surprised and we are all attached

I’m not voting until I hear some small plans for the season, and until I hear wether or not Eli’s dead or not i’m getting tired of all the cliffhangers they left that episode/season. Like when will brookes mom come home or what Emmas dad is doing, or what happened to Eli’s mom after.
Please keep this show and renew for season 3. I love this show, it has kept me in my seat each week, I am obsessed! it is such a great show! we need more scream #pleasesaveit I will be sad if there is no more scream, hope you guys keep it 🙂
