What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Secrets and Lies follows Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis), as she investigates murder cases. Season two revolves around a smart and educated named Eric Warner (Michael Ealy) who attends a party to honor his dad. His father is handing over the reins of the family company. Tragedy strikes when Eric’s wife, Kate (Jordana Brewster), is found dead. Life, as Eric knows it, is over. Cornell immediately sets her sights on the grieving husband. As Eric Warner battles to prove his innocence and save the family’s company, he discovers that his beloved Kate and the rest of his family are not who they appeared to be. The cast also includes Mekia Cox, Charlie Barnett, Kenny Johnson, Terry O’Quinn, and AnnaLynne McCord.
Season Two Ratings

Telly’s Take
The low-rated Secrets and Lies is looking like a tasty treat to this voracious vulture. In January, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said that ABC is unlikely to pick up Secrets and Lies season three. Since a network exec said that much, this early, she is most probably setting expectations. I’m leaving my perch and will start to circle this series. Although Dungey said she loves the show, I expect the network will cancel Secrets and Lies after two seasons.

I love Secrets and Lies. I was really looking forward to the new season and feel it would do better if it was advertised more.
Very dissapointed. Season 2 ended with a very suspicious ending leaving me very concerned with who was in cornells house with her daughter. The suspicion is driving me banannas. Plz reconsider a season 3…
Hey … we have only just heard about Secret and Lies. What a fantastic series. Loved every episode and looking forward to series 3. So who shot Cornell? Series 1 character?

I am seriously upset over the cancelled season 3.I’ve been waiting all year for the new one!!! I do think however there should have been a follow up if not the entire season 2 being about the daughter who got away with murder in the first one. Then to leave us hanging @ the end of season 2 like that!COME ON! ILOVE THIS SHOW!BRING IT BACK! It’s the same thing they did with Dallas. All the years it was on…Never watched it. I am too very upset about this being cancelled!! and I agree with you Toni that they should have continued s2 with the daughter getting away with the murder. that was not cool to hear in s2 that Ben Crawford committed suicide. PLEASE BRING BACK ANOTHER SEASON!!
Listen ABC! I don’t have the words to tell you how disappointed I am that you are not giving this really great show a third season. I NEVER left a comment about any tv show being cancelled so I’m hoping by some miracle you read these comments on here and change that awful decision you made
Very disappointed. Please re-consider doing a third series (and more). Leading actress is excellent, and we’d love to see more of her character in the role she plays.
Why is it that when a good drama or comedy comes on they cancel it. There are too many reality shows. I would like to see this show come on for a new season as well as many other people. There are quite a few shows we would all like to see come back. Please think about it
