Finally, some good news for Sense8 fans. This week, co-creator Lana Wachowski announced there will be a feature-length finale for the cancelled Netflix TV show.
Shortly after the series’ second season debuted in May, the streaming service cancelled the sci-fi drama. The decision left many cast members and fans upset, resulting in an outpouring of efforts to try and save the show. Despite those efforts, Netflix confirmed Sense8 will remain cancelled.
However, it looks like the fans have made a difference. On Twitter, Wachowski revealed that Netflix has agreed to a two-hour Sense8 special to be released next year. We’ll update as details come forward.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Sense8? Are you glad there will be a two-hour series finale?
My favorite Netflix program ever. I’m glad they agreed for a big finale though I’m really going to miss everyone in the cluster.
I am soooo happy about this decision!! Thank you, Netflix, for giving the creators of this brilliant show the chance to tie up the loose ends! I can’t wait to see the wonderful, beloved cluster of sensates again next year 🙂
YAY!!! Thank you, Netflix! Now THAT’S how you treat your fans and keep viewer loyalty! Can’t wait, it’s so much better than leaving us hanging. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I still wish they didn’t cancel the series, but the finale is better than Netflix leaving us hanging
