Heads up entrepreneurs. ABC has ordered even more episodes of Shark Tank, their hit reality show that airs on Friday nights.

It’s hard to believe that this little show, which was in danger of being cancelled so often in its earlier seasons, often ends up having the best ratings of Friday nights.

Last October, ABC announced they’d ordered two more episodes of Shark Tank, bringing the fourth season total to 22 installments — the show’s biggest season by far.

Now, TVLine reports that ABC recently ordered an additional episode — bringing the season total to 26 episodes. Huh?

I’m not sure where the 25th episode came from but a spokesperson with the alphabet network has confirmed there are now indeed 26 episodes.

It’s no surprise that they want more originals. Shark Tank has become the “go-to” show for the network which often uses reruns to fill in for other shows (most recently, Zero Hour).
