TV show description:
The storyline of this scripted series begins in 1908, when an unexplained event occurs deep in the remote Siberian territory of Tunguska. More than 100 years later, 16 reality-show participants descend on Tunguska — unknowing of the land’s mysterious past.
These contestants are from varied walks of life and attempt to battle the elements (and each other) in a quest to survive the harsh winter and claim a large cash prize. What is initially met with unbridled enthusiasm quickly turns to sheer panic as a series of strange events begin to occur.
The contestants soon attribute the occurrences to ruses set up by the producers, even dismissing the death of a fellow player as an accident.
When a contestant is badly injured and no help arrives, the other players meet the chilling realization that the strange occurrences are not part of the show. With their safety threatened, the competitors must band together in an effort to survive.
The show is hosted by Jonathan Buckley (Jonathan Buckley) and the participants are Carolina (Joyce Giraud), a bartender from Colombia; Johnny (Johnny Wactor), a bull rider from Jedburg, South Carolina; Daniel (Daniel Sutton), a computer programmer from Minneapolis; Neeko, a professional rugby player from London; Natalie (Natalie Scheetz), veterinary assistant from Santa Barbara; Sam (Sam Dobbins), an auto mechanic from Brooklyn; and Esther (Esther Anderson), a model from Melbourne.
The remaining contestants are Tommy (Tommy Mountain), a philanthropist from Boston; George (George Dickson), an accountant from Louisville; Anne-Marie (Anne-Marie Mueschke), a graphic artist from New Orleans; Miljan (Miljan Milosevic), a DJ from Podgorica, Montenegro; Irene (Irene Szuchun Yee), a fashion designer from Taiwan; Berglind (Berglind Icey), a photo journalist from Iceland; Harpreet (Harpreet Turka), a graduate student from Washington, DC; Victoria (Victoria Hill), a sales clerk from Winnipeg; and Sabina (Sabina Akhmedova), a soldier from Israel.
Episode #11 — Into the Oven
Reunited and seemingly safe, the contestants begin to put the pieces together — and encounter yet another mind-blowing surprise.
First aired: September 16, 2013.
What do you think? Do you like the Siberia TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Bro, it’s time to renew Siberia!
For the love of money, let’s get on with it already. No wonder new shows don’t make if, you all cancel them before they can make a name for themselves. Goodness ! Get season 2 start. NOW!!’n
Pleeeeeease being it back! I absolutely loved this series!!
Bring back the show! Even to end up the show! The cliff hanger has been too long!
I loved Siberia. It needs to continue.
Being back siberia now
Ya’Lloyd ended the first season where you could have a second season it would be stupid to let the viewers myself included to be left without knowing what happened it is a really good show I watched every singlevel episode of the first season and I loved it so you need to make a second season so hurry!
Brig back Siberia!!!
For Pete’s sake, bring this show back now. We’ve waited long enough for Season 2. It was a really good show and I want to see more!
Bring it back, love the show. But if it goes much longer to return, I won’t care.
I hate getting vested in shows just to wait for months to only discover its been put on the we’ll see list. I’ve not only quit watching this channel but won’t because I’m sure they’ll just cancel it anyways. I’ve got the why bother attitude.
D I T T O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe if you guys truly have a problem with Siberia going away you should find the producing company (Sierra engine tv) and find there contact information and send them email
Trust me I want Siberia back just as much as you guys
I would like to see Siberia return or if not at least do a movie to end the questions.
NBC cancels series without resolving plots like resolutions. That makes me not want to become vested in new series on NBC, not because they are cancelled but how they end?
This show is nothing like anything else I’ve ever seen before! I have seen too many really well scripted shows and they disappear into oblivion because some executive thinks it won’t last very long or the “numbers” aren’t good enough. LEAVE MY FAVORITES ALONE AND LET THEM PLAY!!
This show, to me, combines a reality TV show with a Sci-Fi show like “Lost”.
PLEASE, I”M BEGGING, BRING IT BACK…….or I go back to watching CBS. I don’t really want to though.
I loved that show and would like to know when we get to see more. I was waiting to see a finale. What happened. I want to see more.
This show has noting any other show has – You have to keep it , even if the viewing america is stupid!
