What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Sleepy Hollow follows Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), a patriot who was killed 230 years ago. In season four, Crane finds himself in the nation’s capital where he must forge unlikely partnerships in his quest to find the next Witness. Crane soon discovers that there is more evil at play than he realized was possible. The FOX cast also includes Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble. Kamar de los Reyes and Robbie Kay are expected to recur.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Sleepy Hollow averaged a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.92 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 39% in the demo and down by 37% in total viewers. Find out how Sleepy Hollow stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
This FOX series started as a hit but the ratings fell pretty quickly and they have continued to fall each year. After season three’s dismal ratings, some wondered if Sleepy Hollow’s numbers could go any lower. Well, they have. At the end of season four, there will be 62 episodes. That’s not enough episodes for a regular syndication package but it’s hard to imagine that FOX will order a fifth season. 5/9 update: FOX has cancelled Sleepy Hollow. Details here.

I never really liked History in school, but watching Sleepy Hollow has made it more interesting. I can’t believe you are canceling this show. Give it another chance in season 5. Bring back Abby like a ghost to communicate with Cran to help with the trials and adventures Cran goes through. Or even through the little girl. Canceling this show is A BIG MISTAKE.
I loved that series and hate that it’s been cancelled!! I wish they would bring it back!!
If they had left on Monday nights, it would have been fine! Changing it to Friday is what killed it. Very sad.
Good mix of scary and history… different viewpoint on historical information, but intriguing approach. KEEP or on another station at earlier time for the younger set.

Please don’t cancel this show! I want my kids to see this instead some crap. I want them to learn the history of our country and be proud to be an American!
Sleepy Hollow was an awesome show. I learned so much about our history watching this show. Everytime a new fact was brought to light I checked it to be sure it was correct, and it always was. You people cancel out great shows like APB and Sleepy Hollow and replace them with trash shows. I’m done with you, Fox. I stopped watching your news, and now I’ll stop watching your tv shows. More people should do the same, maybe you’d get the message.
Please bring it back for a decent finish at the very least. How can you end it like that and leave us hanging out in thin air? I was vert interested to see what they would come up with next. I LOVE this show, it deserves a good final season. You left it wide open for another season then decide no more. So wrong. Please don’t cancel this show!!! There are so few good shows that intrigue young audiences, containing the mysteries, history, supernatural fantasy and adventure in a way that also appeals to parents and adults. This show was well-written, has relatable characters, and is one of a few shows that parents could be comfortable allowing their young teens to watch without worrying that they would be exposed to inappropriate material. Scheduling this show against other channels’ powerhouses held it’s ratings down. Find a midweek slot, and the ratings will rise. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL!!!!!!!!! Sleepy Hollow was doing great till some misguided execs decided to put it up against Scandal and The Black List…WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? It made no sense. When I saw the night it was moved to etc I immediately knew it was trouble! . And then, for the fourth season you decided to put it on Friday night!…Why didn’t the powers that be figure that out?! …….and then to top it off you decided to have Abby leave the show…. after the third season…….Wow! It’s a shame that they find it so easy to cancel a show so easily. Why not change the show to a week of the day with less competition for ratings. We love the show it was great not to be fearful of what they may show with concerns with my preteen. You never know what a show might may or may not show so it’s been a great show to enjoy as a family unit. Too bad there are not many more programs like Sleepy Hollow
I have enjoyed Sleepy Hollow. Please bring back it back for a 5th season. This is one of my favorite shows, especially Crane!!! He is quite comical!!
