The first season of Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge premiered with fairly strong numbers, then dropped off considerably, after the second episode. Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by Spartan Race, the demanding obstacle course races, on Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge, groups of friends, families, co-workers, and more must work together as they progress through the taxing obstacle course races. Teams of five compete and push through the pain to try to win $250,000. Season two hosts include decorated U.S. Winter Olympian Apolo Ohno and ESPN radio personality Kelvin Washington. NBC and Telemundo sports reporter MJ Acosta and World Series Champ Nick Swisher serve as course reporters.
