TV show description:
Son of legendary car driver Speed Racer, Speed Jr. (voiced by Kurt Colak) knows a thing or two about how to race cars. But in this animated series, joining the prestigious Racing Academy isn’t a quick start.
Helping him with the transition are his friends Lucy (Sahra Mellese) and Connor (Carter Jackson), as well as headmaster and uncle Spritle (Peter Fernandez). But not everyone is very fond of the new kid. The school’s best racer and most popular guy, X (Robbie Sublett), doesn’t like his turf being stepped on, nor does Annalise (Michal Friedman), X’s number one girl and the school’s number two racer.
In order to race at the academy, Speed needs wheels and, with the help of mechanically gifted Conor, they discover and restore Speed Racer’s legendary car Mach 5. When Annalise’s father, Zile Zazic (Dave Skigen), discovers what Speed is driving, he demands his daughter demolish it. Zile carries a personal grudge toward Speed and secretly detests him.
But Speed’s enemies are even closer to him than he could imagine, especially X, whose true identity is a real surprise.

Conor’s new invention accidentally shrinks Speed, X, and Lucy. They must survive until they can get Conor’s attention.

Sad how underrated this show was and also sad that it only had 2 seasons.
I think Speed racer the next generation should have a spin off series where Speed X Chim Chim Lucy Connor and Annalise got in the Alternative World from Episodes of season 2 16-18 what do you guys think?
Hi big fan I followed the show since the very first episode i wish this show wasn’t cancelled I loved the characters and the storyline it made me sad and upset when I found out the show was cancelled.
Same man I loved this show and have re-watched it about 4 times, I got very attached to the second season and I wish that there would be a season 3
I think Speed Racer next Generation should be restart it up and continued from where it left off it was a good TV series I like to since the very beginning.
Hi!! I’m a huge fan of Speed Racer The Next Generation. I’m argentinian and i followed that show since the date it arrived to Nickelodeon (February 16, 2009). I wrote stories based on the characters of that serie, made some videos, and recorded all the episodes (in spanish) of the first season and uploaded them to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/paomica1) for another LatinAmerican fans… The second season didn’t get an spanish translation to be continued on Nickelodeon (Yes, we just saw the first season only). I think I should be renewed. It wasn’t canceled to long ago so they.could pick it back up. I mean, it’s season finaly was in 2013. They could pick it back up, they would have only missed 1 year in between! It should really be renewed. There are not many good ad ons to old shows any more, so Speed Racer TNG was a good kick continuation of Speed Racer.
I think it should be renewed. Although a lot of reviews were bad, I actually did enjoy it. Plus, I really CAN’T STAND cliffhangers. Is there ANY chance at all that this show might be renewed??
It should be renewed because there were alot of unanswered parts like V.I.C. Also spritles voice in season two kinda sucked.

*Dickie Ranford might want revenge on Speed Racer Jr. for making him lose his company
*What ever became of Racer X
*Why is Analise in the episode Gotcha when Zile’s girlfriend took her with her
It was a late episode gotcha was somewhere in between the hunt for the truth and racing with the enemy
It should be renewed and keep going with it because it’s my favorite cartoon and I think you could do more than 2 seasons.
I really think that they should bring Speed Racer back. Why? Because they left so many cliff-hangers. For example what ever happened to V.I.C. Also what ever became of the Iron Monger aka. Zile Zazic. Also what ever became of the members of the commitee.
