It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.

I was a big fan of Nikita because it had an evolving plot. The problem with Stalker is the opposite: The same pattern over and over. The obvious suspect at the beginning of each episode never is the real one. And the team always rushes in at the last minute to save the stalkee from their stalker. This gets old pretty fast. The format was doomed from the start. I hope Maggie shows up in a better vehicle in the future. Best line in the whole season:
“I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You won’t.”
I can’t understand why the cancellation… it is an interesting and good show… I liked it better than some of the other shows and some of those have been renewed.

We are so disappointed that this show was cancelled. It was one of the best crime shows in a log time and the acting was great! Shame on you CBS!

I love this show!! Great acting and the story lines are great. I love The songs played at the end of each episode too. I’m not happy it’s been canceled. Why do shows like this get canceled but Cyberspace stay on?
I absolutely am so disappointed that this show was cancelled. I love this show and look forward to watching each week. I hope there will be a change in plans and will be renewed.

Love this show! New concept in police drama and a subject that needs to be taken seriously. It’s a great show that helps people with how to protect themselves and what to do in this situation I hope another network picks it up.
