It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.
What do you think? Do you like the Stalker TV show? Do you think that it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I love this show – sooooo disappointed when I saw “series finale”. These networks keep some pretty bad shows on the air and take off the good ones – don’t get it!!!! Bring back Stalker
RENEW THE SHOW!!!! You get us involved in the characters & then cancel the show??? Give it a chance!!
I really only watched this show because I’m a huge fan of Maggie Q. But this turned out to be a really, really good show- from writing to acting. The thing I liked about it the most was that each episode was different. I wondered if they could keep it up, but they did, throughout the season. It seemed no 2 episodes (cases) were the same. I also enjoyed the underlying story arc with Perry and Ray. Sad to see it go!
Great Show / Bring it back
Please do not cancel this show. There is not that many TV shows worth watching. The actors are very good. Please do not cancel give it another season anyway
Loved this show!!!! Sick of all the reality shows!!! Reconsider!
I like this show to but I don’t want the two characters to be in a romantic relationship. To me its takes away from the show.
I love stalker they need to bring it back or go to another network…
they should cancel csi cyber instead.
I love this show! From the first time I saw it, it has been. My favorite!
Love love love it! Bring it back
There’s room for cyber and stalker. Quit ******** things up CBS. They are both keepers!!
I agree with Cruella, this show was a keeper. I hate that new shows are no longer given a chance if ratings aren’t through the roof. Now stations do a trial run with a 10-episode series to see if people are interested! What’s next? Series will be reduced to a 2-part miniseries or a movie of the week. Stalker had a great cast and interesting storylines. And the finale didn’t tie up all lose ends! I truly hope it’s picked up by another channel. And Maggie Q rules!!!
I agree they didn’t tie everything up!! Come on and give it a second season to grow and gain viewers!!! This show was just so different; it was one of my favorite shows!!! Look at more than the 18 -49 demographics–older people shop too!!! You really didn’t make any “brownie points” with me; I’m very upset with CBS right now!!!
My husband and I LOVE this show. Please don’t stop it!!!!! Great acting, great suspense, one of the best on TV.
I like this show. The last episode leaves us hanging. What’s going to happen to Vicky? I want to see Jack and Beth have a relationship. Boo, CBS.
Bring back Stalker!
Why cancel this show. In my opinion Stalker is far more interesting than some of the shows that is aired on CBS. I truly hope that the series will be aired on a different network. I am truly disappointed with CBS decision to cancel Stalker.
Why cancel this show? Many of my co-workers and family members enjoyed this show. The cast is great and has really grown into a unit. The stories are far more interesting than half the junk I see while channel surfing. It’s violence level is no higher than Criminal Minds or CSI. Honestly CBS, I am disappointed. But at least you also canceled Battle Creek so there is some justice. I hope another station swoops in to resuscitate this show.
