It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.

Well NBC you’ve done it again… You have never disappointed us, as we’ve watched show after show dropped from your network.. Why, we can always count on you to sabotage your own shows.. I think it’s one of the best crime shows on TV… I can’t believe they ended it like that!!
I love THE STALKER show. It’s my favorite! I love Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott <3 so many people want to stalker back !!! Please please PLEASE BING IT BACK
I agree with you–stalker was a very good show and should have been renewed!! Just when I got really into it and was looking for more it’s over. This has happened to me before and I’m sick and tired of the networks doing this based on the demographics and not the total number of viewers!! Now I don’t know if I’ll be watching any new shows because you can’t trust that’s they’ll return!!!!!
Such a bummer loved this show one of my favorites and I watch a ton. It had a great cast I was looking forward to the next season. Please bring it back!!

Well my wife and I are also disappointed to hear that they canceled Stalker. We watched every episode and enjoyed the drama.
Certainly no way to end the series — a cliff-hanger with no closure. How stupid is that!!!

This is one of the best new shows on tv. But it wasn’t properly advertised and most people I know never saw it. I hope somehow it will survive.
It has already been cancelled; so, it doesn’t survive!!! CBS doesn’t know what a gem they had–it truly was one of the best shows on TV and I looked forward to it every week!!!!!
Who in the heck disides which shows stay and which are cancelled. Stalked is one of the best shows on TV. The plots and actors are so good, I can’t wait to see the show the following week. With all the crappy shows currently on TV, I can’t believe Stalked has been csncelled.

I too thought this series was great; but I don’t know where all the other viewers were!!! You know that’s the name of the game and unfortunately the numbers kept falling!! It was in the perfect spot airing right after Criminal Minds–you could just stay put and watch “Stalkers!” I’m so tired of getting really into a series only to have it cancelled after only one season!!! I read that there is going to be a spinoff of Criminal Minds starring Gary Sinese!!! I haven’t heard anything further about it though!!! We’ll wait and see??
