It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.

A most compelling show with excellent cast we all looked forward to the next instalment .

I too am very disappointed that CBS wasn’t willing to give those of us who are big time fans of Stalker a second season! I am overjoyed that you all are forming a group to try to get CBS to change its mind about cancelling this great show! But, I did read an article about CBS and it stated clearly that when CBS makes a decision, there’s no changing their mind. So, I wish you luck and hope you are successful in getting them to give the fans what they want!!!

Absolutely gutted the show has been cancelled. We watch over here int he UK where it is highly popular and gets great backing. Its all my colleagues and friends talk about and i seriously hope either CBS do a u-turn or another channel picks this up immediately. Great storylines with excellent casting.

I love everything about Stalker, from the storylines & cast right down to the haunting covers of both old & new popular songs. Wish Netflix or a cable station would pick it up & give the show the chance it deserves.
This was one of the only shows that I would go out of my way to watch. I thought the cast was really good and the first five minutes of every episode was so suspenseful. I am so sad to hear it has been cancelled.

I’ve never been so gutted to see a show axed!! This is one of most consistently good shows on tv at the moment and now it’s gone!! Please renew this show!! It’s better than most of the rubbish on TV!!

I agree with you that Stalker was an excellent show with great writers and a wonderful cast! But, it’s definitely been cancelled by CBS; so, it won’t be coming back. I read that once CBS makes a decision, there’s no changing their minds. Everything with these tv series is based on demographics and for some reason they zero in to the age group 18 – 49.
