The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

I just started watching the show and was hooked with it in the first ten minutes. I’m about to finish the season and its really upsetting that they canceled it because i just got hooked and would love to see more, I need to see more. they need to make a season 2
I had this hug giant paragraph that I was about to post to this website about hpw it was the biggest mistake CW had made about not making a second season. Talk about an epic cliff hanger you cant just leave the show ending like that.but I just decided what’s the point. I’ve been watching Star-Crossed on Netflix and I love the show. I didn’t know it was on the CW channel. I would love to see future shows. I’m sorry it got cancelled.

Should reconsider, hard for Mis season shows to grab hold. With proper marketing and time slot this could be a solid a solid series for the CW. Show hit stride mid season and left off with an intriguing series finale. Alas, no matter how much we plead, it’s all about the money and ratings. This show will not get the benefit of doubt…… Shame!

I think there should be a season 2…me and my boyfriend loved it I just don’t think you guys gave it a chance.you should make a season 2 of star crossed, if you made a second season we belive it would the off.
