The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

i am 14 and i love this show. i like other shows on the cw but STARCROSSED was my favorite but now its gone and i do not watch the cw for any of the old shows . i hate that i have to find a new favorite tv show. this is an out rage. i hope and wait on STARCROSSED to come back on television. i also hate that you left the crowd hanging on the season finale. i was waiting and waiting for the next episode just to find out months later that MY FAVORITE SHOW HAS BEEN… Read more »

I have been waiting to see if they picked up for summer and just found out they cancelled. ..I’m so sick of my favorite shows getting cancelled while no talent crap is left on air..star crossed was something different and had great actors. .actions..drama and romance!

I think that Star-Crossed is the best TV series that I have ever seen. I am a science fiction fan and I was so happy to see Star-Crossed and its characters. I could relate to the characters, and they are hot. Why did they canceled, when its really beautiful and great. If it has viewing problems, change the day and hthe hour of showing it on TV. Please let it be season 2.
