The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

I can’t believe that this show is cancelled. It had so much potential and as far as I can see a huge following. The script and characters we brilliant and deserve to go forward and become a classic tv series.
Can’t believe this fantastic show has been cancelled – just watched the series one finale in the UK, and it’s brilliant – really hope there is another series.
It’s like taking candy away from a child. Give them a taste and take it away. It’s not fair bring star crossed back please. Only decent thing on telly atm.
This new series has the potential to be a number one hit. I cant believe they would think about canceling with out giving this a chance to take hold. The more people watch this the more they like it. Please reconsider

OMG! If this is true?. Please reconsider. I watched the season Finale, here, in the UK last night, and, I was on the edge of my seat. I am so looking forward to Season 2 to see what happens next. I have really enjoyed this series and can see its potential to run for a long time yet. #bringbackstarcrossed!
