The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

Nooooo please you cant do this!!! Just when i find a show im interested in after a long time you not having a season 2! Please dont do this star crossed is one of the best series ive seen so far i totally enjoy it i cant get enough of star crossed i totally love the characters!!! Please let there be afew more seasons!! Its really a GREAT series

another disappointing outcome to another great show, why is it there more worried about the numbers of people who haven’t watched the show? forget about all the people who have watched and enjoyed and was looking forward to season 2, what about us your viewers? our thoughts and wishes mean nothing cause yet again another show left in limbo makes me wonder if people don’t bother to start watching anything new what the point they only cancel the shows anyway .
I am from Slovakia. And I loved this show! So many of a great shows have been cancled recently ! Star-crossed was a speciall show ! CW should give more time for people to find out about it !

Absolutely hated it being cancelled. I loved the show and all the actors who betrayed their characters so well!

I went to look for when the next season started and then i found this. I can’t believe they are canceling it! It was one of my favorite shows since it started. Extremely upset if it never comes back on!
