The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

I think this is a loss for a great show.
I am from the Netherlands and I found it hard to find A good show.
I found it by accident as it was not advertised here, but I loved it.
And I hate to say I ”loved” it, because I really do love to see A season two.
i cant believe they cancelled starcrossed i love this show so much and im so angry and annoyed that they cancelled one of my favorite tv show, i was so attacted to these series and they have to cancell it, and specially because i like how its diffent to all the other shows and it is so unique . and i loved the actors and the plot and everything about it and im so angry it is cancelled .. i hope they can bring season 2 so maybe they can get more views and so we can all be happy… Read more »

I’m so shocked! Why would you cancel Star-crossed?? I loved that show. I’m not being on watching channels with commercials but I loved loved loved that show. I’m glad you’re keeping The 100, The Originals and Supernatural but to cancel Star-crossed is just stupid! Take Reign and Vampire Diaries off the air! GIVE US STAR – CROSSED BACK!!

I cannot believe The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed, it seems that Network Executives are no different to the Network Executives that were around in the 1960’s when the TV series Star Trek was cancelled , which became a World Wide phenomenon. There are a lot of Science Fiction fans out here, we aren’t all sports fans you know!

Just watched the whole season and started looking for when the season 2 comes out and I find this?!!!! WTF CW!!!!!
I finaly found a show I liked besides TVD (The vampire diaries) and TO (The originals), GOT (game of thrones) and TT (the tudors). Then I found SC (star crossed) and fell in love 😀 And now they tell me there will be no Season 2?!!!! GIVE ME SEASON 2 NOOOW!!
