The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

I am saddened by the fact that there will not be a season 2. I have enjoyed all 13 episodes on Netflix. If I would have been aware of this show and had cable I would have definitely watched this loyally. This is not your typical run of the mill show. This show covered every emotion possible. I hope one day CW realizes that it was a huge mistake to end this epic show. For shame.

I just started watching this and I was GLUED. Finished it in three days. CW should really have given this more promotion. CW has almost all my favorites, and this is one I would stay faithful too.

I am a physician who doesn’t get much time to watch tv, I happen to like sci-fi. I also have discovered Netflix as a source for seeing TV shows and movies at a time convenient to me. I have just finished the series of star-crossed and found it to be as good if not better than some of josh Whedons works specifically firefly. i love star crossed I want to see next season ..
When something gets real expensive like limes or tomatoes I stop buying. When there is an actor /actress I don’t like i just don’t bother with the show. CW cancelled Star-crossed. Since I disagree… I will not watch the CW anymore. I personally avoid the networks or bussinesses that think they’re puppet masters. Haha I am no PUPPET. I love boycotting all those who try to control others or who are just plain stupid. Hasta la vista CW.
I just started watching this series on Netflix and so far, I like it. Why not give it another chance? There are shows on right now, more deserving of the axe. Saturday nights would be perfect!!!!

This was such disappointment that this show was cancelled. I just started watching it on netflix a few days ago and finished it today. I mean why cancel it??? Someone else needs to take over the series because damn i wanna know what happens next. I actually cried at the end of episode 13.
