What’s in store for the new season of Star? Recently, star Ryan Destiny posted a new first look at season two of the FOX TV show.

From Lee Daniels, the drama follows three talented singers as they navigate the cut-throat music business on their road to success. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, and Brittany O’Grady.

As reported earlier, the season two premiere of Star will feature Empire‘s Jussie Smollett as part of special two-hour crossover event on FOX beginning with the season four debut of Empire on September 27th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The new season of Star begins at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
