Anna Akana is headed to Freeform. Deadline reports the YouTube star has joined season three of Stitchers.
The sci-fi drama follows a highly intelligent computer science grad student (Emma Ishta) who is recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased. The cast also includes Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, and Allison Scagliotti.
In season three, Akana will recur as “Amanda, a cool and confident medical examiner who starts working with the Stitchers team and has an instant spark with Camille (Scagliotti).” The new season of Stitchers premieres on Freeform on June 5th.

I love this show, and am thrilled to read it will be returning in June. For people who miss Eureka (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), and Warehouse 13 (Allison Scagliotti), this show fills a real void left by those shows.
