(New York) – In Memphis, the cars are fast, the pavement is dangerous, and street racing is a family affair. Led by JJ Da Boss, the Memphis Outlaws race the same pavement that they’ve driven down for decades in pursuit of one thing: to “get that money.” JJ leads his team of Memphis racers against the best competitors the US has to offer – from Las Vegas to New York and everywhere in between. Money and blood are on the line in the two-hour season premiere of STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS, premiering Monday, October 22 at 9pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. The series is produced by Pilgrim Media Group.
Additionally, Discovery is hitting reverse on the life of Memphis Outlaws crew leader JJ Da Boss in a new episode of STREET OUTLAWS MEMPHIS, “The History of JJ,” airing Monday, October 15 at 9pm ET/PT. The special gives viewers a unique glimpse into the eventful life and times of JJ Da Boss.
For JJ, racing is a family affair; he fell in love with it straight from his mama’s hip, watching his father and Uncle Wayne compete. Today, five generations enjoy racing together, though it wasn’t always a smooth road. As JJ reveals details about his past – including when his desire to provide for his family led him down the wrong path and eventually to prison – he offers insights into lessons learned from losing everything, and how love and family are the true keys to life – and to winning.
In STREET OUTLAWS MEMPHIS, JJ and family continue to race together, bet together, and never turn their backs on each other. Along with his wife Tricia, cousin Precious, and son Doughboy, JJ and the entire Memphis Street Outlaws team take on every challenger from across the country that comes their way – driving in real steel-bodied cars like their grandfathers and great-grandfathers drove. Memphis owns its own style of street racing, with street racers going head to head on real asphalt.
With few limits and a lot of heart, the Outlaws lay it all on the line with every single race; they know that bringing home pride, honor, and a chunk of cash requires serious skills and the courage to really hit the pavement hard – because in Memphis, only the fastest and baddest cars win.
Viewers will also be able to catch the current season, along with past seasons of STREET OUTLAWS, on the Discovery GO app – free with their paid TV subscription.
STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Media Group; Craig Piligian and Sam Korkis are executive producers. For Discovery, Craig Coffman and Todd Lefkowitz are executive producers, and Lindsay Malinchak is coordinating producer.”

Coopers from Carrabelle,Florida 32322
Come down to the Crooked River Boggs when they have it!!
I will certainly watch this show as long as it’s produced!! I think the MSO is an awesome group of “home grown” racers. They’re down to earth people who love to race on real streets. Not ‘no prep’ track stuff, so much better watching JJ and everybody doing their thing!!
Looking forward to watching the new season of street outlaws Memphis. Will street outlaws also be renewed?
Excited to watch. Memphis is more real street with real street cars than the other shows have become. Don’t get me wrong though, I love all the shows. There’s nothing real street about a pro mod.
Can’t wait for season 3. J J da boss is a good man, and a gambling man and a family man.
I cant wait until season 2, i love the show and love all those outlaws. JJ is one of a kind, funnier than hell tells you how it is etc. Keep the show’s coming Memphis outlaws
Street Outlaws Memphis is the worst of the Street Outlaw Shows. Why they cancelled New Orleans and are still airing this show is beyond me. But fortunately I can simply not watch it. Saw first 3 episodes of it on Motor Trend and if I could delete it from my list of shows on Motor Trend I would. By the way, Discovery Channel, The American people can handle a bit more realism. we don’t require all the antics and phony winning streaks to keep our attention. Its amazing how reality TV destroys the reality of reality.
Love jj da boss and his crew. Not a lot of profanity. I hate watching the other show and there’s more bleeping out than conversation. I love a family oriented show. To much backstabbing and cursing on the other show. Pitiful excuse for grown men to curse and carry on the way they do. Not all of them curse and carry on but the majority of them do. Disgusting.
I really like outlaw Memphis. I don’t watch the replacement and don’t plan to
I absolutely love the the Day family!!! They have so much love and pride and dignity. JJ is so humble and kind,he has a big heart and passion for his family and friends. I come from a street racing family as well, I’m 46 and still have the drive and passion for the streets. I hope and pray for the return of Street Outlaws Memphis , JJ Da Boss RULES!!!
Street outlaws Memphis is my favorite. I like it more than the others. No cussing! RENEW!!!
It’s not all big money people. Just down to earth people having fun.
Can’t stand all these whiny ass people complaining about the are drops, if you want to be a snowflake politically correct idiot , then go watch drag strip.
What is wrong with you people ? I guess you just want to change channels and see the exact same thing. Here’s a novel idea” don’t like it? Then don’t watch it
This show is trash. cheaters the lot of em. JJ is so full of it.
Just watched show today. Definitely do not like starting procedure Memphis uses. Arm drop is horrible way to start race and highly favors Memphis. I much prefer OKC’s light and reviewing if someone jumped. Memphis jumps like rabbits and I don’t know why anyone would race them knowing deck is stacked against them. Tried watching and giving them benefit of doubt but I just can’t stand it. Not a fan. Please back OKC where racing is more fair.
Not really into JJ. He’s a little over the top. Trashy
I believe the 409 group has a lot what Memphis is lacking. Cast is more believable. Bring back OKC. FarmTrucl etc
Love the show and the people. Please don’t make us wait so long for season 3
Can’t stand jj the boss..he is a blow hard bs’er
