Telly’s Take
Sun Records got off to a mediocre start and the ratings dropped quite a bit after that. CMT has very few scripted series and this one attracted about half as many viewers as the first half of season five of Nashville. Sun Records could easily be cancelled.
5/5 Update: CMT has confirmed there will be no season two of Sun Records. Details here.
6/5 Update: The producers are shopping Sun Records, season two, to other outlets. Details here.

Renewed love it
This is my favorite show on TV right now! I’m willing to stay up until 11:00 on a work night to see it in real time and look forward to it each Thursday night. Love the story line, great acting, vintage clothing, and the music. Needs more publicity to get more viewership. I don’t normally watch CMT and found out about the show from, of all people, my boss! Glad I saw Million Dollar Quartet right before this show aired.
Great show!!!Love it!!! Renew!!!

Second season seriously My husband and I are addicted best show we have seen in a minute! Just needs more advertising because not a whole lot of people watch cmt or think of it as a network with potential for a great series. Heck I always thought cmt country music! You guys knocked it out the park though for real! It’s amazing !!!!
