Hate Madame Secretary. Everyone seems to be reading the script. Tea’s and Bebe’s monotonous voices drive me bananas. The best part of it is actually the way each episode starts, then it goes downhill for me. Good storylines, but wrong actresses. IMO
The Madame Secretary Pilot was just wonderful. Intriguing premise, excellent writing, strong, believable characters, and top drawer acting. Couldn’t ask for anything better in a new project. Congratulations and keep up the good work!
Much like Hillary Clinton, Madam Secretary, CBS’s $100 million contribution to the Hillary 2016 campaign, drove away the young.
CBS did everything possible to favorably position Madam Secretary putting it after a Super Bowl rematch and 60 Minutes and right before the Good Wife.
The current ratings show that Madam Secretary lost 4 million 60 Minutes viewers and lost half of its younger 18-49 viewers. That’s the demo prized by advertisers and Madam Secretary is going to have trouble staying on the air if it can’t get them to tune in.
Missed Madame Secretary; TV guide (Zap to It) had it listed for 10:00pm – got CSI instead. Maybe they’ll rebroadcast it. Still love “The Good Wife” and hope they continue on course with real-lfe legal and inter-firm competition issues. Seemed somewhat lackluster + too many plot lines for one episode. We don’t KNOW if Cary was set up – remember the tape was shown to Kalinda near the end wherein Cary was recorded advising the client how to proceed with the drug deal? May be this is why David Hyde Pierce will be coming on board (they could have done… Read more »
I believe the 10pm showing was supposed to be a rerun, to fill extra time if football had run over just a half hour.
And I also peeped at the good wife didn’t like how that started with someone setting up Kerry don’t like how that started and saw the coming attractions 4 next week show he’s still in jail I don’t like it didn’t like what happened at Greys didn’t like what happened at Scandal stop watching I think I might be done with good wife
I love madame S. 4 what I saw I also dvr it u’r right u also have to add that xtra time because of football I think it should be only 1 came on that channel it’s not fair to the other’s shows and ppls looking at them have 2 go to work and school or look at other shows because when downton Abbey start in January that were I’m going 2 be and sometimes these shows r not on on demand
numbers don’t look good for Good Wife. Premiere down 13% and a 1.3 demo??? where will it be in the spring?
Wow, LOVED Madame Secretary! Great storyline, great drama, great actors! Hope it stays around a long time!
Great debut for Madam Secretary. Will see if the political drama series is going to survive throughout the entire season depending on CBS’ football delays.
I watched Madame Secretary last night and I loved it. Love Tea Leone. This is going to be a great show. Hope it catches on. Just too bad it is on Sunday after football games because those always run late and it is a pain to set up a dvr time because you have to tape the show after it also to make sure you get the entire episode. Well, I guess you could watch it on On demand.
