CSI was excellent. That 40th Anniversary of Saturday Night Live was so-s0. Racing thru the clips of some of the great scenes from the past was an awful idea. Then the actual skits that they DID put on were not only idiotic, but boring. I’m not a Martin Short fan so his “contribution” didn’t make me one, either. Glad we taped it… we zipped thru most of those skits, plus ALL of the singing, yes, including Paul McCartney (who can no longer sing.) Aw, man, “CSI” is gonna die on that series low, a very pitiful 1.1 in the demo. The fact that CBS never gives their owned/produced-in-house shows proper “final/farewell seasons” or “series finales”, no matter how important that series was to the network, can’t help matters. If the original “CSI: Vegas” gets cancelled after this season, there will be NO consolation. And I’m not gonna even bother watching “CSI: Cyber”; such a white elephant, it shouldn’t have been ordered to series.
Really hope CSI gets renewed for a much deserve “final season”.
