SWAT fans may see other cast members return for the SWAT Exiles spin-off. When the series was announced, Shemar Moore was the only cast member confirmed to return for the series.
However, Keith LeGoy, Chairman of Sony Pictures Television, has spoken out about the spin-off, and more could return. This comes after some cast members expressed disappointment about not being included in the new series.
According to Deadline, Le Goy said the following:
“There is a S.W.A.T family and that family is important. We would love to have other family members involved in some way, whether it’s all of them all of the time, some of them some of the time, or something in between. That’s something that we are still figuring out.”
SWAT Exiles is still in development, and an outlet has not been established for the spin-off.

Not all but some. Some characters went to other departments or onto other jobs but those that didn’t should be included.
If a spin-off is the only way to get more of SWAT, I would love it. And would watch for sure.
Yes. It was a dynamic group of actors, especially Deacon, Tan,and Luca. Hope at least these 3 will come back.
What’s the point of a spinoff??? There was nothing wrong with the original. I don’t care to see a spinoff. And will not watch a spinoff.
I don’t know what the point is but they killed SWAT so I am 100% going to watch the spin-off. Why not?

I think it was a bad thing that happened to SWAT. All Shamar was thinking about was himself. If they were truly a family he could have included some other cast members. In particular Jay Harrington or David Lim.
I would watch it if others are on. Otherwise no.
Betsy, did it ever occur to you that Shemar Moore didn’t have ANY say in choosing the cast? That and the storyline are outside his purview.

I think they should bring back the original cast from SWAT. It makes more sense. Luca, Chris and Street along with Deacon and Tan! The first SWAT FAMILY would be really awesome!!

The cast has so many options for a spin off and due to the popularity of the cast and show, I would think another network would be interested.

Why cancel SWAT just to start a new series?? Doesn’t even make sense.
I would love to see the original cast from the first Season of SWAT return to the NEW SWAT EXILES! Luca, Chris and Street along with Deacon and Tan. It would be awesome to have a family reunion on SWAT EXILES ♥️
