It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

Yes, we loved watching Take Two. We have been waiting for Season 2 to start. Everyone I have spoken to really liked it. It was funny, had drama and suspense. Please do what you can do to find a place to put this back on. We have Season 1 recorded because we liked it so much. Thank you, DuAnn

LOVE Take Two. Has a great mix of comedy and drama plus it’s a detective show. My fav. I would DEFINITELY watch more.

Although the show has an impossible premise and some strange ways I would have tuned in for season 2 because the lead characters had chemistry and were both good in their roles. I was hoping to see at least another season. Light hearted and fun.
Yes! Love this show and hate to see it cancelled after just one session. I say give it another chance. The ending was such a cliff hanger, really would like to see what happens next!

I love Take Two and would definitely watch it if they had a second season. I do not get ABC so anything I want to watch that is an ABC show I have to wait until the next day and watch it on Hulu. This type of viewing is not counted in viewership ratings but should be. Until this type of viewership is counted or ABC gets an accessible way for me to watch what they are offer they are going to continue to have low viewership, and I can guarantee I am not the only one.

Yes, I would watch the 2nd season of Take two. I really like the show. I am disappointed it was cancelled. I hope another network will pick it up. I thought Eddie played a down to earth and real person on the show.
My family really enjoyed Take Two. We purchased season one because we weren’t able to see every episode. We would LOVE another season especially since the relationship and the show ended on a cliffhanger!
