It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

I actually found out about this show recently from a colleague! great chemistry between the leads, and fun storyline. hope there will be a season 2!

Yes I’ve enjoyed Take Two. I watch on Hulu. I would watch a season 2. Was hoping for more. My vote is yes for more seasons.

I hate ABC they always cancel shows I love. They make me sick. Going to stop watching anything on ABC.

I do so hope that this show gets at least a second season. I highly enjoyed the interaction between Rachel Bilsons and Eddie Cibrians rolls. Funny witty fast paced and whit a genuine feeling for the script and the idea behind the show. And the cast is really exeptionally good. So, please please give us at least 2 more season. In me you have a true fan.
