It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

Disappointed with ABC canceling Takes Two, but then again ABC canceled Survivor.
I LOVE TAKE TWO AND I HAVE NOT EVEN FINISHED THE FIRST SEASON. I love the actress Rachel Bilson. I just recently watched the heartland of Dixie with her as the main actress and she is amazing. This show is FANTASTIC. Cancelling it would be a mistake. It was not well publicized and I think if it is it will have TONS of future success. Great show with great people. Pleaseeee don’t get rid of it:)
I really enjoyed Take two. I watched it every week. Hoping for season two. Why is it that ABC keeps taking off good shows. And I don’t stream. Please bring it back.
I really like the show .I think it’s a shame so many good shows are cancelled but the cheaply made reality shows flood the tv.

Take two was a good show. More entertaining that many of the sitcoms today. Give them a better time slot and I would definitely watch again. Rachel and Eddie were fun to watch and they clicked on screen!
