It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

Really liked this sh0w. Stories were interesting and well acted. Too bad for us that it was cancelled. I hope some other channel picks it up. Most of if not all of the new series this year will not be watched in my house. Good luck TAKE TWO.
I LOVE this show. I REALLY hope we still see it somewhere. I wonder how they get their ratings. I had to watch it on demand every week because of work. And if they can’t add those into the ratings, they should rate on a curve or something like that. Im sure Im not the only one who has to watch their favorite shows like that. PLEASE GIVE US MORE TAKE TWO!
This show is just wonderful and GREAT stories. Take Two is better than some of this crap that’s on TV. Hopefully another network will pick it up. Are you listening/reading this CW or USA? Suggestion: put in on TV on Saturday evenings. There is nothing on worth watching at this time.
We hope for renewed Take Two. We love it and we would like to see a Second Season so so much. The dialoge and twist between these lovely persons are so cute and sexy. Please bring us Sam and Eddie back!!!!!
I really enjoyed this show. The problem wi h networks and Summer shows is they expect instant gratification instead of letting the show build an audience. Notorious was the same way. And the chemistry between the two stars was excellent. Same with Take Two
