Chris Hardwick and The Talking Dead will be back for a fifth season on AMC. The cable channel anounced the renewal earlier today.
The first half of the current season hit series highs in total viewers. The second half is set to debut on February 9th.
The 2014-15 season of Talking Dead and The Walking Dead are expected to launch in October. A specific date is likely to be announced in July at Comic-Con in San Diego.
What do you think? Do you watch Talking Dead? Always, usually, or never?
Personally, I think the Talking Dead is ridiculous. Way too many comedians that are just plain silly and they take up way too much time! If everyone would hush and stop laughing so much, maybe the episodes could be analyzed more in depth. Or maybe you just don’t want to discuss acting and story! Just cut up and act like you are funny! News flash– you are not funny!
News Flash!- You don;t have to watch it!
I ALWAYS WATCH TD TO SEE IF I MISSED ANYTHING ON THE WD EPISODE AND TO HEAR WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING. LIKE THAT THEY SHOW VARIOUS SEGMENTS ON HOW THEY CREATE THE WALKERS. IT IS INTERESTING TO SEE IF THE FANS ARE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE OR IF THEY INTERPRET AN EPISODE DIFFERENTLY. ENJOY THE SHOW AND CHRIS DOES A GREAT JOB!
I am watching The Talking Dead now 10-19-14 following the episode of The Walking Dead ” Strangers” and what bothers me is they keep referring to the walkers as zombies, they are even using the word “Zombies” as one of their code words for a contest. Why? I understood the show never wanted to refer to them as “Zombies” and therefore they have always called them “Walkers”. Could you please explain this to me?
Sincerely,
Vickie Shadle
I know the show never refers to them as zombies but in the comic book they do. In fact Rick’s group refers to them as “roamers” and not walkers in the comic book. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I’m just now reading the comic books and they are very different!
